Mr Abbott, flanked by opposition treasury spokesman Joe Hockey and opposition finance spokesman Andrew Robb, said difficult cuts were needed to cut government spending and leave more finance bachelor to the private sector, which would ease pressure on involvement rates.
The Coalition had previously committed itself to making $46.seven billion in savings. Mr Abbott said the savings would mean a reduction in bureaucracy not services.
